Board member announcements

We are sad to announce that Alan Gunzburg has stepped down as Board Member of the DARE Foundation. Alan was instrumental for helping us get DARE off the ground just over two years ago. His prior board and advocacy experience were invaluable to us. Passionate about raising awareness for Refsum Disease, Alan has given much of his time and insights to help us grow and succeed. He has been a loyal fundraising supporter and extremely successful with grassroots fundraising through Facebook. We are extremely pleased Alan will continue his role as a US ambassador for the Foundation and continue to advocate for Refsum Disease as there is still plenty of work to be done.

We express heartfelt thanks to Alan for his years of service. While his term may be finished and we will miss Alan as a board member, we look forward to his continued involvement with the Foundation and the Refsum Community
